This is not the right time for Jagan to tour Telangana: Damodar Reddy

``We have got every right to interrupt or  block Kadapa  MP,  Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s  Odarpu Yatra in Telangana,’’ said  Damodar Reddy, a senior Congress leader of Telangana. ``Just as  every person has the right to  tour  any  part of the country, in the same way we can also show  resentment to his yatra  by  interrupting  or blocking  his  way,’’ Damodar Reddy  added.

Interacting with the media, the senior Congress leader observed  `` Jagan’s  father  late Dr  Y S Rajasekhar Reddy  is not against for the formation of a  separate Telangana. But, Jagan  joined  with the Telugu  Desam leaders leaders and  raised his  voice against  separate  Telangana. This  point stands against Jagan. So  the  people  of  Telangana  cannot  digest  this factor  and  want  to block his Odarpu Yatra.’’

At  the moment  there is  tension in every village in the region of  Telangana. Against this backdrop, the Government should not  grant  Jagan,  the permission to tour Telangana, Damodar Reddy  felt.

It’s  not  good  even  for the  Seema Andhra leaders to tour Telangna at this  point of time, the former minister opined.

Referring to the  Srikrishna panel,  Damodar noted   `` In case  Srikrishna panel  does  not give a favorable  report to the Centre for the  formation of a separate Telangana, then he threatened that there will be  an internal  war and the  Telangana movement   will be intensified.’’
