Don't hurt sentiments of people: Naidu

Telugu Desam Party leader from the Telangana region Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday met the party president N Chandrababu Naidu and explained to him why he is against blocking the Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s Odaarpu yatra in the Telangana region.

The meeting assumed significance as many Congress and TDP leaders were opposed to the remarks made by Errabelli.

Errabelli also submitted a three-page letter written by him to Naidu explaining the reasons for restricting the entry of former chief minister’s son into Telangana districts.

In the letter, Errabelli reportedly mentioned former chief minister’s anti separate Telangana stand  was the  main ause for  opposing Jagan's  tour  of telangana.

Later talking to reporters Errabelli said Naidu has patiently heard his views and advised him not to politicize the issue for getting mileage.

Naidu also told Errabelli not to hurt the sentiments of Andhra people by making controversial statements on the statehood issue.

Errabelli also reiterated that there was no change in the stand of party against blocking the Odaarpu yatra in the Telangana region.
