Rosaiah emerges successful from Prajapatham tour

Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Tuesday said the Prajapatham programme was successfully implemented in the state.The Chief Minister returned from Chirala (in Prakasam district) by Padmavathi Express train in the morning and told newsmen that the problems of many people were resolved at the Prajapatham programme which he inaugurated at Chirala.

He said the novel programme was aimed at addressing people's problems and take the administration to their doorsteps.Though there were initial hiccups, the district officials were directed to ensure that the people were informed of the programmes well in advance.

The Chief Minister said although some people staged dharnas, there was nothing wrong in raising public issues.“If the people stage dharnas seeking redressal of their problems, the government would take action against officials concerned for not implementing welfare programmes properly,” he pointed out.
