Hot Hunk Rana Daggubati with his macho looks and powerful performances carved a niche for himself on Indian silver screne. Rana instead of confining himself to lead roles in just Tollywood, expanded his horizons by exploring the naunces of acting by doing different genre roles.
Rana who attained international recongition for his performance as Bhallaladeva in Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali, speaking to scribes, shared his thoughts on politics. It is known that Rana starred in political thriller Nene Raju Nene Mantri in which he played the role of a person who turns politician and goes to any extent to attain power. Later he went on to play the role of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu in Balakrishna's NTR biopic- Mahanayakudu and Kathanayakudu.
When asked whether he is drawing inspiration to enter into politics after doing political roles, he said, "Politics has lot of drama. I use that in my films. I like politics due to the drama. However I donot have any thoughts or interest in joining real life politics".
Incidentally Rana made his debut with a critically acclaimed political entertainer Leader under the direction of Sekhar Kammula. Currently Rana has his hands full with films like 1945, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, Housefull4, Haathi Mere Saathi, Hiranya Kashyap, Virataparvam 1992 and Silence.
