House adjourned four times

Following  frequent interruptiions  from the leigislators, Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday adjourned the House four times.

When the House met for the day, the Opposition parties tried to introduce adjournment motions on various issues. However, the Speaker disallowed them citing time constraint.

Protesting against Speaker’s decision, the Opposition parties disrupted the proceedings in the House. Unable to go ahead with the business, the Speaker adjourned the House for a few minutes.

When the House re-assembled, the Opposition parties sought explanation from the Chief Minister on leaving the House abruptly on Friday when Opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu spekaing on the state budget. The Speaker adjourned the House twice on the issue as Opposition parties did not relent.

Later, the Opposition parties sought discussion on hike in prices of essential commodities and they want to know what steps the government is taking to curb prices of essential commodities.

When the Opposition parties sought immediate explanation from the state government on the rising prices, the Speaker adjourned the House for half-an-hour.
