CPI seeks TD support for Friday's bandh

Communist Party of India state secretary K Narayana met Telugu Desam party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and discussed with him the issue of UltraTech Cement Factory at Tadipatri in Ananthpur district.
The Cpi has called for a bandh on Friday in protest against the retrenchment of 185 workers from the factory. The Cpi also sought the cooperation of TDP to make the bandh successful.

As reported earlier, the Cpi on Wednesday staged protests at the Cement factory at Tadipatri on Wednesday.
