Hyderabad, Feb 5: Pro-Telangana activists obstructed the shooting of yet another Telugu film in Hyderabad on Friday.A large number of activists, who are the strong supporters of Telangana cause, descended on the Travels Road in Moosapet area of Hyderabad city on Thursday morning where the shooting of the Tollywood hero Allu Arjun’s film “Varudu” was in progress. Raising slogans demanding formation of Telangana state, they entered into an argument with the film crew and disrupted the film shooting.

Following this, the shooting came to a grinding halt and on learning about the incident, Moosapet police arrived on the scene. The police later disbursed the protestors and after an hour's interruption, the shooting resumed at 12 p.m.Moosapet police registered a case and investigation is on. “We are trying to find out as to who are responsible for the obstruction of the film shooting,” the police added.The protest is in tune with a call given by the president of the Telangana Jagruthi, Ms Kavitha, who is the daughter of the president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao. She called upon the people of Telangana not to allow the shooting of the films of the actors opposed to the formation of Telangana state anywhere in T-region.
