Chiranjeevi 'Amayakudu' or 'Asadhyudu'?

Chiranjeevi, the name of Megastar was enough to create box office records in Tollywood. His mere appearance on the screens was enough for his fans to celebrate the day. Unfortunately, all this is history.

Today Chiranjeevi as a politician might be remembered only by the few…including the voters in his own constituency. As an MLA of Tirupathi, Chiranjeevi must attend the welfare and developmental activities in his assembly and there is a protocol for every esteemed member of Assembly. Unfortunately ruling Congress party has left no respect for Chiranjeevi, as he remained a dumb spectator for all Government activities in Tirupathi. It may be Governor’s official visit or Chief Minister’s opening ceremonies, Chiranjeevi is neglected totally by the officials. Chiru still considers these as an excuse and said he doesn’t care for protocols, what he needs is the love of people.

If this is one side of the story, other side is that local Tirupathi voters have forgotten that Chiranjeevi is their MLA which indicates that Chiru is loosing his charisma too quick. Still Chiru is acting fine (‘Meka Pothu Gaambheeryam’) and in one of his recent political shows commented, “People in Andhra Pradesh are repenting in their inner hearts and are angry over themselves, for defeating their most needed leader Chiranjeevi and his Praja Rajyam Party. But how could I be angry upon my own people? Iam your family member. It is a daily routine that, we get angry over our brother or sister or father or mother, that doesn’t mean that family, is broken. Same is the relation between my self and my people.”

After listening this entire story, one of my friend commented “What is this Chiranjeevi…is he Amayakudu or Asadhyudu?” Let us hope that fortunes revive and Chiranjeevi stand big as a Mega Star even in Politics.
