AP Budget on Feb 20

Hyderabad, Jan 30: The budget session of Andhra Pradesh Legislature Assembly will begin on Feb 15.According to sources, the Cabinet which met here on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister K Rosaiah at the Secretariat gave its approval to several pending projects in the State.The Cabinet also decided to introduce the State Budget in the Assembly on Feb 20. It approved the pay revision Bill for the state government employees as recommended by the 9th Pay Revision

Commission.The Cabinet also took the decision to reserve 20 per cent of the posts in the National Law University (NALSAR) for the local candidates.The Cabinet cleared a file pertaining to the payment of University Grants Commission scales for the lecturers of Government degree colleges and government-aided degree colleges.The Cabinet has agreed to set up family courts in nine districts to put an end to matrimonial disputes like divorce, maintenance, alimony, custody of children and other arrangements to help the women victims.
