Cong legislators withdraw resignations

Hyderabad, Jan 30: The Congress MPs, MLAs, MLCs and Ministers on Saturday withdrew their resignations following the Central announcement of a committee on Telangana formation.The People’s representatives, who met at Congress Legislature Party office on Saturday decided to withdrew their resignations in view of the announcement made by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram that a panel was being formed to go into the Telangana issue.

Earlier, the Congress MLAs from Telangana have resolved not to set any deadlines to the party leadership to hasten the process for Telangana statehood.The participants deliberated at length on the unilateral decisions being taken by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti leaders and other JAC constituents.The Congress leaders expressed concern over the TRS efforts to project itself as the champion of Telangana cause.
