JAC 'co-existence' rally today

Hyderabad, Jan 23: The political joint action committee of Telangana will organize a community rally on Sunday, stated JAC convener Prof K Kodandaram.Talking to media persons here on Saturday, Kodandaram said that the rally would help boost co-existence between Andhra and Telangana people in the Telangana region, foster positive interaction and reduce enmity among people.

He called upon the people, cutting across regions, to participate largely in the rally to make it a grand success.The rally would be flagged off at Moosapet and culminate at Kukatpally Housing Board Colony.He said there was no clarity in the statements of All India Congress Committee leaders in announcing separate state for Telangana region.

He urged the Telangana leaders to mount pressure on the Centre to take a clear decision on the controversial statehood issue.The JAC convenor appealed to the Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema leaders to understand the situation properly and help carve out Telangana state.He also appealed to leaders not to make sensitive statements which disturb harmony and peace in the state.
