The broken samples of tear gas units that were used on Osmania Students yesterday have been preserved by students and politicians. Although tear gas has been used to divert the mob and disturb the funeral procession of Venugopal Reddy in order to restore peace in the city, but the trick by Police misfired as they are now caught in a different problem.

As per the samples that were collected, it is known that the tear gas units have already come beyond the expiry date by one year. Labels that were sticked on these samples clearly indicated that, tear gas was filled in January 2006 and expiry date is on January 2009, which means Police have used this dangerous tear gas which is expired one year ago on these students.

This expired tear gas will have many side effects on students and there is even a threat of loosing the visibility, said a doctor. This once again showcases the pity condition of our Home Ministry.
