Give us enough time to speak in Assembly, Chiru appeals to Speaker!!!

  Under the leadership of the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) president, Mr K Chiranjeevi, legislators of the non-Congress and non-TDP (Telugu Desam Party) met the Assembly Speaker, Mr Kirankumar Reddy, in the latter’s chambers seeking enough time for them to address the House on various issues.

The non-Congress and the non –TDP MLAs are of the opinion that the ruling Congress and the main Opposition TDP are not allowing the smaller parties to speak in the House even on major issues are being debated in the Assembly. The legislators of the PRP, Bharateeya Janata Party (BJP), Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Left parties met and decided to represent their demand to the Speaker.

Talking to media persons after meting Mr Kirankumar Reddy, Mr Chiranjeevi said that the Congress and the TDP are hijacking the House leaving no space for the smaller parties to speak even on major issues like the budgetary proposals. “We have represented the matter to the Speaker and h positively responded to our demand. We hope that justice will be done for us,” he added.
