Violence engulfed the twin cities and other nine districts of Telangana with unsatisfactory statement from Chidambaram. Once again pro-Telangana activists went on a rampage on public and private properties.

The activists took to the streets damaging buses and setting vehicles on fire apart from pelting stones. Big Bazar, Spencers, Petrol Bunks, Outer Ring Road Office in Huda Complex in Tarnaka are heavily damaged by a mob of over 2,000 youngsters at Tarnaka before police stepped in and brought the situation under control late in the night. Near a dozen of buses are attacked in Ramanthapur - Dilsukhnagar area while 20 buses near Lalapet and Kukatpally were stopped and damaged in stone-pelting.

In Warangal, nearly 3000 youngsters attacked the PS and the situation turned hostile. The same violence marred even other districts of Telangana like Medak, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad Districts.

RTC Buses and trains to Telangana areas are fully halted now and the situation may remain the same for nearly 24 hours, say a media report.
