TRS MLA condemns Congress for holding protests

TRS MLA A Jeevan Reddy has strongly condemned the protests being organised by the Congress party against the TRS Government.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises on Monday, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the Congress leaders, especially K Jana Reddy, N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, have been expressing their frustration over loss of power in last elections. He said they were unable to digest the fact that Telangana was emerging as a developed State under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Therefore, the Congress leaders have been levelling baseless allegations against the TRS Government to divert people's attention, he alleged.

Jeevan Reddy said that KCR has been working hard to turn the State into 'Bangaru (Golden) Telangana'. Besides mobilising resources from within the State, KCR has been getting funds from the Central Government for developmental activities. Instead of extending their cooperation, the Congress leaders have been targeting the State Government to stop the development while sending a wrong message to the Centre, he alleged.
