Ysr Congress has said that the thrust of TDP government is more on publicity than on addressing the pressing issues and is pursuing with its anti-people policies.

“From the day Chandrababu Naidu has taken over the reins of the State, he has been continuing with his anti-people policies and has launched a publicity campaign that his governance has been good while the reality is quite the opposite,” Party MLA G Srikanth Reddy told reporters here on Tuesday.

There were advertisements that loans were waived and he has worked out details but not a single farmer was freed from the debt. Thought he promised that the first signature would be on waiving farm and DWACRA loans, the signature was on a file appointing a committee to study the feasibility of the loan waiver scheme.

The experienced Chandrababu Naidu has used his skills only to dupe the farmers, women and other sections and help his coterie in getting the best real estate deals.

He should categorically announce as to how many farmers have benefitted out of the loan waiver scheme and how many loans of the SHGs have been cleared. Instead of giving these core details he has been giving advertisements that all-is-well.

How many fresh loans were given to farmers after TDP assumed power is the detail that reveals the scale of efficiency of TDP governance and not the publicity and the swanky statements of sycophants, Srikanth Reddy said.

Chandrababu Naidu has been telling that there is no shortage of fertilizers and seeds after TDP came to power, but in reality, farmers are facing a financial crunch which is why the demand has fallen against the regular supply. The power consumption too has come down as the tariff has gone up.

The anti-people policies of TDP will be highlighted during the November 5 dharna, he said.
