Lok Satta to field candidate in Pulivendula

Hyderabad,Dec 1:Election seems to be imminent for the by polls to Pulivendula constituency which will be held on December 19.Almost all the opposition parties are not fielding any candidate in the Pulivendula by-poll which fell vacant due to Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s death.The only party which is likely to contest from Pulivendula is Lok Satta which failed to win even a single seat in the recently concluded Greater Hyderabad Civic polls.

All political parties decided not to field any candidate from their respective parties as a token of respect to late YSR.Vijaylakshmi,widow of late YSR filed her nomination on Tuesday accompanied by her son Jagan and other cabinet ministers.Speaking on the occasion Jagan stated that Pulivendula's pride will always be taken care by their family.He also added that his mother is not interested in politics,but due to Sonia Gandhi's request he convinced his mother to contest in the by-poll.
