Khammam,Nov 30: The doctors interfered with the indefinite fast vow taken by Telangana Rastra Samithi chief K.Chandra Shekar Rao on Monday afternoon, while he has been lodged in Khammam Jail since Sunday.He refused to eat anything, let alone medicine as the doctors forcibly injected saline into his body. A group of doctors called in from Hyderabad, Vijayavada and Gunturu check his health every two hours and they found him in perfect health on Monday morning.Team leader Dr.Mohan Arjuna suggested that Mr. Rao be shifted to  some super-specialty hospital within 24 hours. Meanwhile, Rao wrote to the superintendent of police seeking to shift him to Hyderabad or Warangal.Kcr's letter has been forwarded by Khammam sub-jailor to the Superintendent of police by fax.However, the police on Monday approached the court and prayed that Kcr be kept in Khammam jail for some more time in view of the existing situation in Telangana.

This was also discussed by officials and a Cabinet decision in this regard is awaited.The Opposition parties have expressed their solidarity with the agitation spearheaded by Rao. Communist Party of India national leader Puvvada Nageswar Rao, New Democracy district secretary Potu Ranga Rao and TNGO district president Kurapati Ranga Raju met Mr. Rao in jail in the day and extended their support to him.The TRS bandh call in the district was total. The TRS and  Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi activists staged dharna and held rasta-rokos in Khammam, Manuguru, Kothagudem and Ellandu and were arrested by the police In Manuguru, a passenger train was held up by TRS activists for a few minutes. Schools and Colleges, petrol bunks, shops and cinema theatres were shut down. The RTC buses did not come out of depots.Heavy police forces were deployed at bus depots, government offices and railway stations. Many students on dharna were arrested by the police and sent to Khammam jail.
