MBT nominee makes it to GHMC

Hyderabad,Nov 26: Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) nominee Anjadulla Khan from the Azampura division and Praja Rajyam Party nominee Narsimha Yadav from Old Bowenpally, which falls under Kukatpally Assembly constituency, havebeen elected the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, for which elections were held on Nov 23.MBT, a breakaway group of Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen (MIM), has been contesting every election and trying to divide the Muslim votes.However,this was the only election the party has ever won.In the previous municipal council poll held in 2002, of the total 100 divisions, MBT had two corporators, MIM 36,Congress 21, TDP 22, BJP 15  and TRS won from three divisions.
