Jagan willing to campaign if High Command instructs

Hyderabad,Nov 17:Yielding to mounting pressures of Andhra Pradesh state ministers,the Congress High Command has deputed two All India Congress General secretaries Mr K B Krishnamurthy and Mr Praveen Davare to hold talks with Mr Y S Jaganmohan  Reddy,MP from Kadapa on electioneering for the  Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.The All India Congress General secretaries K B Krishnamurthy and  Praveen Davare who are in Hyderabad to review the GHMC elections had discussions with Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday about the election campaign for the GHMC elections.The discussions lasted for more than two hours.

Jagan responded favourably to the Congress leaders stating that if the High Command asks him to campaign for the party then he is ready to follow the instructions.KVP Ramachandra Rao a close aide of Jagan also took part in the discussions At a time when the Telugu Desam, BJP and even Lok Satta parties are planning to go all out to stamp their mark in the corporation elections,the entry of Jagan in the campaigning would undoubtedly cause irreparable dents in the Opposition vote bank.Besides,the large number of YSR loyalists comprising ministers,MPs and legislators would actively work for the Congress victory.The Jagan camp feels that it is great opportunity for Jagan to project himself as a leader of the masses having a following in the capital also.
