Hyderabad,  Nov  12:  Stepping up the tempo to  mount pressure on Mr. K Rosaiah’s Government to initiate action against the mining mafia in Obulapauram, 52  Telugu  Desam  Party MLAs and MLCs on Thursday approached  the CM’s office in C Block of the  secretariat and staged a dharna.Pressing for an early action the TDP MLAs   demanded that the Chief Minster should come down personally and take the  memorandum from them. Raising slogans against the Government right from the main gate of the secretariat they approached the C Block without any prior intimation.

Their sudden entry created a mild tension in the C Block.Alleging that there is laxity and indifference on the part of the three-man committee probing into the Obulapuram mining issue the TDP MLAs raised slogans against Rosaiah and demanded the Government should take a stern action against the corrupt persons involved in Obulapuram mining case .Earlier the TDP called for an emergency meeting on Thursday to review the Obulapuram situation and decided to step up the campaign on Obulapuram issue.

Meanwhile TDP leader Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy speaking to the media alleged that Chief Minister K Rosaiah is making the  probe a mockery as the CM is under pressure from Jaganmohan Reddy, MP from Kadapa and KVP Ramachandra Rao MP.The TDP leader demanded that the Government should call for an all party meeting on this issue and table all the records concerning Obulapuram mining case. He questioned when the government is probing so  deeply into former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Khoda’s affair why is it not showing the same interest in Obulapuram case.
