Khammam,Nov 10: The Government should take the responsibility of supplying ores and mines in the country to public sector companies, suggested Communist Party of India state secretary K Narayana.Talking to media persons on the concluding day deliberations of the three-day State Council meeting here on Tuesday, he appealed to the government to supply iron ore from the Obulapuram in Anantapur district bordering Karnataka to the public sector Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He alleged that the Gali brothers in the border district earned thousands of crores of rupees on mining business and attempted to control affairs in the BJP Government in Karnataka. As the Gali brothers are exporting iron ore from Krishnapatnam port to foreign countries,he urged the government to take steps to prevent exporting ore from the port.He said the Cpi would block all roads leading to Krishnapatnam Port from Obulapuram if the ore is not supplied to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant by November 16.
