CBI names Sabitha in chargesheet

Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy was named by Cbi in the fifth charge-sheet filed here today in connection with the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Disproportionate Assets (DA)case.

The charge sheet was filed with the Cbi special court which includes the names of Mopidevi Venkataramana, Dharmana Prasada Rao and others. In all 13 persons were named in the additional charge-sheet. It has attested 53 documents and has included 46 persons as witnesses.

Cases were registered against Sabitha under sections 120 (b), 409, 420 of IPC. She was also booked under sections 9, 12, 13, 13(1) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

The accused as per the charge sheet are: YS JaganMohan Reddy, Vijayasai Reddy, Punit Dalmia of Dalmia Cements, Sabitha Indra REddy, IAS officer Sri Lakshmi, VD Rajgopal, Sajjala Diwakar Reddy of Eshwar Cements, Sanjay N Misra, Neel Kamal Bheri and Jaideep Basu of Dalmia Cements.
