The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the State Government for the hike in power charges.

The government has imposed Rs 20,000 crore burden on the common man and the government did not heed to anyone's advice, TRS President K Chandasekhar Rao said here. With farmers burning their crops as there was damage due to lack of power to draw water from borewells, the state government should be ashamed for imposing high tariff, he said.

We will give uninterrupted power to farmers after achieving separate state, he said. It is unfortunate that an arrogant person like N Kiran Kumar Reddy should become the chief minister, he said.
