Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Monday disallowed four adjournment motion notices given by different parties.

As soon as the House met on Monday, TDP gave adjournment motion notice on law and order issue, YSR Congress party on drinking water crisis, TRS, CPI, CPI (M) and Nagam Janardhan Reddy on power crisis and BJP gave adjournment motion notice demanding resolution on Telangana.

However, the Speaker disallowed all the adjournment motions and began Question Hour. While Municipal Administration Minister M Maheedhar Reddy was replying to the first question, the opposition parties created uproar and surrounded the Speaker's podium. With the opposition parties refusing to resume their seats, the Speaker adjourned the House for half-an-hour.

Similar scenes were witnessed when the House re-assembled at about 10.30 AM. The Speaker then announced that all questions listed for Question Hour were deemed to have been answered. Following opposition parties' demand, the Speaker allowed discussion on energy crisis.
