In a day of hectic developments, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had a series of meetings before leaving for Delhi.

Chief Minister met Governor ESL Narasimhan and was closeted for about 40 minutes. It is understood that he has discussed the Dharmana Prasada Rao’s issue.

Reddy, who is scheduled to leave for Delhi in the evening, had a long meeting with Governor, who had returned the cabinet decision against the prosecution of Dharmana Prasada Rao in the Vanpic case with the remark that legal opinion should be taken.

Dharmana, who submitted his resignation in August met the Chief Minister a couple of days back while the CBI contention was that once the assembly was dissolved in 2009, Dharmana lost the status of a public servant, the capacity in which he issued the land to Vanpic.

The tense situation in Akbaruddin’s case has also come for discussion, it is understood, besides the unrest arising out of the hike in power tariff.

Later, the Chief Minister also held a review meeting with DGP V Dinesh Reddy on the situation arising out of MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi’s issue.
