TRS and BJP members raised slogans and placards in protest against the padayatra.

Though Congress has aligned with TRS in 2004 elections it did not honour the promise on Telangana and have been trying to take political mileage out of the issue, he said.

The All party meeting, he said, was convened by the Congress only to please Telangana MPs as their support was must for the voting on FDI Bill, he said.

TRS has been playing foul by whipping regional passions and trying to create law and order situation an every leader has the right to tour any region in the state or country, he said.

Alleging that TRS president K.Chandrashekhar Rao was concerned over securing power to his family members, he said that Mr. Rao had not done anything for the people of Telangana.
