KCR terms SEC decision as ‘hasty’

Hyderabad,Oct 30: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao (Kcr) on Friday criticized the State Election Commission (SEC) for issuing notification for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections in an undemocratic and unilateral manner.

Talking to media persons on Friday, he said that the State Election Commissioner, A V S Reddy, has to convene an all-party meeting before the issue of election notification. Without convening all-party meeting how he can issue election notification, he questioned.He termed the Election Commission decision as ‘hasty’. It could have been better if there was more time to face the elections, he said.
