Tdp Karimnagar MLA L Ramana on Saturday accused the Pulivendula MLA Y S Vijayamma of trying to divert the attention of the people by challenging the High Court order in the Supreme Court against Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu in disproportionate assets case.

Talking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan, Ramana said that Vijayamma filed the petition in the apex court against Naidu at the behest of her son and Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and to divert the attention of people from the CBI freezing Sakshi group bank accounts.

Stating that Jagan forced his mother to file petition against Naidu out of frustration, he said that this clearly proves that Jagan wants to protect his 'corruption money' from the CBI and to escape from the arrest of probing agency.

However, Ramana expressed confidence that the Supreme Court would quash the petition against Naidu and give a clean chit to him soon. He reminded that former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ordered probe against Naidu over his properties many times. But all the probing agencies gave clean chit to Naidu, he claimed.
