Ysr Congress Party today came down heavily on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chiranjeevi for their 'uncharitable remarks' on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“The two leaders saying that the elections have come only because of the selfishness of Jagan Mohan Reddy is not acceptable as the governance has taken the backseat in the state with the chief minister being busy in his Delhi trips en route Chennai to please the high command and safeguard his own post,” party spokesperson Bajireddy Goverdhan told reporters here.

Development has taken a back seat as the State, which had seen two nominated chief ministers and the welfare activities have come to a standstill after the death of YSR.

Though the chief minister said that the government has not done away with the YSR welfare schemes, let the government spell out as to what it has done for farmers with the onset of monsoon close-by and the month of June is fast approaching.

While the farmers, women, students and other sections are left in the lurch, Congress has tied-up with TDP to sling mud on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The fact can be verified by the echo statements Congress leaders are making after they originate from the TDP camp, he said.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has left the Congress to form YSR Congress after differences with Sonia Gandhi on the Odarpu Yatra and ever since he has been with the people, while the nominated chief minister has been away from the people and people are away from TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu.

In this backdrop, a clear cut conspiracy has been hatched by the Congress high command with the state party unit, TDP and two media houses that are opposed to YSRC to unleash a propaganda and try to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy through backdoor as they cannot afford to face him politically or in the media competition, he said.

Despite all the hurdles, people are vigilant and are aware of the facts. The faith of the people will reflect in the June12 mandate as YSRC will win all the seats and the two parties will be taught a fitting lesson, he said.
