Telangana Rashtra Samithi Floor Leader Etala Rajender on Monday came down heavily on the State Government for not coming forward to resolve the Telangana issue despite the students ending their lives.

Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, Etala Rajender said that the government forced Speaker Nadendla Manohar to adjourn the House when the Trs demanded a discussion on suicide of Bojya Naik, an MBA student of Kakatiya University, in Warangal. He said that Trs wanted discussion to find out the reasons which have been driving the student to suicide and also to chalk out measures to prevent such extreme steps.

Etala appealed to the government to change its arrogant attitude and take steps towards moving a resolution on the Telangana issue in the House to prevent suicide of students in the region. The Trs would continue to stall the proceedings of the House until the government changes its attitude, he warned.

Stating that the Congress should learn a lesson from the outcome of by-elections in Telangana region, he said the party would be completely wiped out from the region for ignoring the Telangana sentiment and aspirations of people.
