Regarding liquor auctions, Narayana said that his party would attack the auction centres during the invitation of tenders for the same in next two months. He warned the government of serious consequences if it does not change the policy on liquor auction.

Justifying the disqualification of 17 MLAs from the State Assembly by Speaker Nadendla Manohar under the Anti Defection Law, he said that the delay in initiating action on the rebel MLAs has brought disrepute to the Speaker’s post.

Narayana also expressed regrets for his unsavory comments against Minister for Heavy Industries Dr J Geetha Reddy and apologised for the remarks. Earlier, Naryana has stated that Geetha Reddy knew nothing about her portfolio and her entire focus was on looking beautiful.
