Samaikhya Andhra Forum convenor and Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath on Wednesday accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao of cheating the people of the region with the mirage of separate statehood.
Addressing Samaikyaandhra Vidyarthi Garjana conference at Krishna Teja College in Tirupati, Sailajanath appealed to the people of Telangana not to heed KCR’s words and spoil their life. He described KCR as an `opportunist’, who can switch loyalty to any party any time. Alleging that KCR was misusing the agitation for his political and selfish interests, he said that Seemandhra leaders were ready to sacrifice anything to protect the integrity of State.
The Minister said that the Seemandhra leaders were opposed to the division of state to protect rich Telugu language. He said that the development of the state on all fronts would be possible only with a united state.
Sailajanath called upon the students in the Seemandra region to protest unitedly and peacefully to protect the integrity of state. The Vidyarthi garjana was attended by student leaders from all universities, lawyers, teachers and 30 leaders belonging to different political parties.
