Making a demand which sounds strange in politics, former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy on Wednesday asked TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu to swear before God to prove his honesty.

Presently with YSR Congress party, Srinivasa Reddy challenged Naidu to swear in the name of God stating that he never indulged in corruption during his political career.  “I am ready to swear before Ganesh idol in Kanipakam,” he said while asking Naidu to follow the suit. He asked Naidu to also declare the assets that he had on benami names.

Describing Naidu’s declaration of assets as a `bundle of lies’, Srinivasa Reddy challenged him to declare his properties registered on benami names and companies. He alleged that Naidu owns properties worth over Rs 2,000 Crore. He asked him to prove how he amassed so much of wealth as he owned just two acres of land when he started his political career.

Baleneni claimed that he was born in a very rich family and challenged Naidu to write off Heritage Foods on his name, if he fails to prove anything wrong against his assets. He also challenged Naidu for an open discussion on the allotment of land for Vanpic project.
