Fearing arrest in the disproportionate assets case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation, YSR Congress party president Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy has surrendered himself before the Congress party. This was alleged by Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu while addressing a press conference at his residence here on Friday.

Naidu said Jagan’s surrender before the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh clearly indicates his helplessness to come out clean from CBI cases on his disproportionate assets. He said during his meeting, Jagan appealed to the Prime Minister to protect his properties and to save his family members from the CBI raids. He claimed that Praja Rajyam party chief K Chiranjeevi too surrendered before the Congress and finally got merged into that party.
