Pressing the demand to take forward the process of Telangana state formation, once again this part of Andhra Pradesh has become the headline news with resignation of MLAs from all the parties. As per the latest information 27 Congress MLAs, 11 Ministers, 12 Congress MLCs, 33 TDP MLAs, 3 TDP MLCs, 2 PRP MLAs have quit their positions sending the resignation in prescribed speaker format. These letters were submitted to deputy speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikrmarka as Speaker Nadendla Manohar is in the US of America. On the other side 9 MPS from Congress along with Rajya Sabha member K. Keshava Rao reached New Delhi to submit their resignations to speaker Meira Kumar.  

Now, it is left for TRS to react as the platform is set for a Constitutional Crisis in the state. Actual strength of our Assembly is 294 while 119 members are from Telangana region. Sarve Satya Narayana, Jaipal Reddy are two T-MPS who haven’t quit.
