Whether out of nervousness or the inadvertent expression of their innermost desires, two of the 39 Legislators who took the Oath of Office and Secrecy, mistakenly read out that they were taking Oath as Chief Minister, startling everyone present at the ceremony.

According to sources, first time Minister Erasu Prathap Reddy and Sudarshan Reddy on Wednesday fumbled and mistakenly pronounced that they were taking charge as the Chief Minister of State while being administered the Oath by Governor ESL Narasimhan at the Raj Bhavan. Both the Ministers realized immediately realized the error and corrected themselves, but not before startling Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and inducing mirth amidst the gathering. This means including with Kiran Kumar Reddy, it is funnily three CMs to the State.
