AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh differentiates between Skill vs Caste Census

Nara Lokesh on Skill vs Caste Census. When political parties, mostly opposition parties are hovering around caste census, AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu's son, IT Minister Nara Lokesh speaking to scribes, shared his vision on Skill Census.

To the top of it, he also differentiated between Skill census and Caste Census. Elaborating further on his dad, CM Chandra Babu Naidu's statement “I don’t believe in caste census. India should have a skill census.” he said “As Education Minister, I keep thinking that my responsibility is both for the mind and the soul. So if you look at it, we are now integrating our youngsters to the market,”

He also showcased the highlights of the Naipunyam Portal. He said “We are now coming about with the Naipunyam portal, where, in certain traits, we are actually going to test our kids, and on a framework, we are going to say, this is where they rank, and you can hire them. It’s a very transparent mechanism where supply and demand is matched, and there’s a skill intervention,”

He continued “We have done this for nursing recently; where close to 18 kids are going to Germany as healthcare professionals. And I believe we can send close to 50,000 of them.”
