What TN Elections opinion polls say. The southern state of Tamil Nadu is racing for assembly elections in 2026 and all the political parties are sharpening their strategies.  The main fight is between the ruling DMK headed by CM Stalin and the opposition AIADMK. The national parties, Congress and BJP have no say in the Tamil Nadu elections and they are just trying to piggy ride on the back of DMK and AIADMK.

Already AIADMK ruled out alliance with BJP while DMK is in close alliance with the Congress and Kamal Haasan's MNM joined the alliance and Kamal went on to become the Rajya Sabha MP.

All eyes are on film star Thalapathy Vijay, who has immense following among masses and who launched his own party TVK. He is strengthening his party and almost all the parties are trying to forge alliance with him, owing to his following among masses.

In the midst of all this, opinion polls conducted exposed the stark ground realities. It is coming out that if elections are held as of now, then DMK will win 105 seats while AIADMK will win 90 seats out of the 234 assembly constituencies. What shocked all is, Thalapathy Vijay's TVK despite the mass following, will not be able to win a single seat.

This shows that in Tamil Nadu, the dravidian parties DMK and AIADMK has strong following and are their bastions and it is extremely difficult to break into them.
