Telangana CM Revanth Reddy inducts new faces in his team. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy after coming to power, for the first time expanded his cabinet today.

Earlier today CM Revanth Reddy inducted Congress MLAs G. Vivek Venkata Swamy, Adluri Laxman Kumar and Vakiti Srihari into his cabinet. They took oath at a ceremony held in the Raj Bhavan with Governor Jishnu Dev Varma administered the oath of office and secrecy.

Apart from that, Congress MLA Ramchander Naik has also been chosen as the deputy speaker of the assembly.

CM Revanth Reddy who came from the TDP party and quickly rose to the top echelon in the party is trying to balance the caste and seniority dimensions in the cabinet.

Vivek and Laxman Kumar belong to SC (Mala) and SC (Madiga) communities respectively, while Srihari is a leader who hails from the backward classes, newly chosen deputy speaker, Ramchander Naik, is a leader from the ST community.
