The Chairman, 20-point programme and APCC official spokesman and former MP N Tulasi Reddy criticised the way TDP leader from Puttur, Muddu Krishnamanaidu cast aspersions against AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi by alleging that he had links with MFI director Akula Vikram.

Speaking  to media persons on Monday, Mr Tulasio Reddy said that it was unfair to establish linkage with the MFIs' interest rate.

Stating that the State government had issued the GO in respect of the Ordinance, he said that no other state had done it so far.

Micro finance was started in 1975 in Gujarat and Rahul entered politics in 2004, Mr Tulasi Reddy pointed out.

How far it was it justified to drag Mr Rahul Gandhi’s into MFI interest controversy, he asked.

In this connection the PCC spokesperson listed out various issues in which TDP was involved and advised Mr Muddukrishnama Naidu not lose control over his tongue and maintain dignity even while criticising.
