Babu has no right to comment on YSR : Pulla Padmavathi

Congress Mlc Pulla Padmavathi on Thursday stated that Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu and Eenadu Group Chairman Ramoji Rao have no moral right to comment on former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Talking to media persons at the Media Point on Assembly premises, Ms Padmavathi expressed her indignation by questioning how Mr Naidu, whose name figured in the list of huge corruption scams, is now making allegations of corruption against the YSR family.

Ms Padmavathi blamed the TDP’s losses and its eroding popularity, particularly in the Telangana region, and the TDP leader’s fear of losing their grip on the state for Mr Naidu’s targeting Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his family. She also accused the TDP chief that he was unable to digest his bright political career.

The TDP is targeting the YSR family and indulging in mudslinging on the Congress party with an intention to tarnish its image, she stated.

Expressing regrets for some own Congress leaders making negative comments against YSR family members, Ms Padmavathi stated that the high command was observing all leaders and would initiate action against them at an appropriate time.

Reacting on the Kadapa MP aspiring for Chief Minister’s post, she said the high command would take a decision on Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s political career at appropriate time based on the aspirations of people.
