Samantha Calls Shaakunthalam A Disney Like Film

Samantha who has been witnessing ups and downs in her life since the last two years has been inspiring many with handling the hardships. She displayed the fighting spirit during these tough times and kept sailing through. Seems like her dark days are over and is shining with bright light like her smile. Samantha was last seen in Yashoda which became a decent success and earned her lot of fame for her performance and stunts in the film.

Samantha's latest film is Shaakunthalam, a mythological love story based on a tale from Mahabharata about Shakuntala and King Dushyantha. Gunasekhar who is an expert in handling such big grandeur films is helming Shaakuntalam too. Recently Samantha and the makers watched the final copy of the film and she is elated with the output. She even penned a heartfelt thank you note to Gunasekhar for delivering a beautiful and emotional film.

Today, Samantha and the entire team her co-star Dev Mohan, Director Gunasekhar and Producer Neelima Guna visited Peddamma Thalli temple at Hyderabad to seek her divine blessings for the film. Samantha is seen gorgeous in a white chudidar wearing a beautiful smile. She looked serene at the temple. She tweeted about the film's release, " The little girl in me is screaming with joy.. loved Disney films all my life and finally to be a part of something that looks and feels so Disney.. dream come true!! "

Shaakuntalam is gearing up to release in multiple languages on 14Th April, 2023. Gunasekhar's daughter Neelima Guna has produced it under Dil Raju's presentation. Mani Sharma's music has already became familiar with the audience.
