Why people are crying over Rajamouli..?

Rajamouli is trying his best to bring the prestigious Oscars to the country, which has been missing for many decades. He received an Oscar nomination for his magnum opus RRR and received several international awards making him the envy of many. Moreover, many people are upset to see Rajamouli creating a huge craze in foreign countries like America and Japan. Rajamouli, who has already won several international awards including Golden Globe, Saturn Award, Sunset Award and New York Film Critics Circle Award, is just one step away from hoisting the flag on the Oscar stage.

However many in our country itself are growing jealous of Rajamouli and started crying about him and his work and coming out with insulting and insinuating articles. While a section of Tollywood media is bringing in cast factor and their reach, and influence to get awards for Rajamouli and RRR, a section of Bollywood media are making fun of his films and his tastes and preferences.

Right-thinking people feel that their jealousy over Rajamouli is such that they cannot see the broader picture and reach of the Indian film industry at the international level if an Indian film be it RRR or any other one wins the Oscars. This was not the case when Aamir Khan's Lagaan was shortlisted for the Oscars or Rahman and Resul Pookutty won the Oscars. There was no such negativity but since Rajamouli is scaling new heights at the international level, jealousy is doubling as these filmmakers are unable to match Rajamouli's standards of filmmaking.
