Happy Birthday To Talented Filmmaker

Buchi Babu Sana, the name who doesn't know before two years and the name who has been constantly in discussions ever since. Inbetween there's Uppena happened. Buchi Babu who was a protege to Director Sukumar has made his debut with Uppena introducing Mega Nephew, Brother of Sai Dharam Tej, Panja Vaisshnav Tej. It also marks the debut of talented Krithi Shetty. Like his master, Buchi Babu too chose an unconventional love story for his debut. Though it looks like a rich girl poor boy love story on the surface like a shore on the sea, as we move forwards Buchi Babu takes us deeper into the unexplored depths of emotions. This made Sukumar saying that Buchi Babu makes him proud and made a better film than him.

Uppena was started as a small film but by the time it was released, it became a big film with chartbuster songs by Devi Sri Prasad, huge buzz was surrounded the film resulted in huge openings. The film has grossed more than Rs 100 crores which is a monstrous feat for a film which new comers in lead roles including the director. Buchi Babu has left his mark in his first film itself by touching a never tried angle in a lovestory. When it was said as a story, no one could relate and convince with the core point. But, Buchi Babu has convinced and connected the audience to the core emotion. This shows his maturity and command as a story teller. 

Now he is doing a film with Mega Power Star Ram Charan which is a huge opportunity for him. As the film is being made at a Pan India level this could be his big ticket to go to next level. Vriddhi Cinemas along with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are producing the film.
