Vaathi/SIR Trailer Review

Versatile actor Dhanush is set to show his acting prowess with his upcoming film Vaathi which is releasing in other languages as SIR. The film directed by Venky Atluri is set for a grand release on 17 February 2023. The film's promotions are increasing interest levels though the makers haven't promoted the film that well in Telugu. The makers today released the film's trailer.

The trailer at once went viral on social media. Dhanush played the role of Balamurugan in the film and he is seen as Bala Gangadhar Tilak in Telugu. Dhanush showed good expressions and emotions and the film is a powerful take on the educational system in the country.

The trailer starts with the Chairman of a private educational institute deciding to adopt Government Colleges to provide better education to rural students. While the idea sounds good, Dhanush who was the junior lecturer sent as the faculty find out startling revelations. He falls in love with Samyuktha Menon who played the role of a teacher. Danush decides to take on the educational system and mafia and this leads to a battle involving powerful and influential people. Dhanush came up with powerful dialogues like, “Dabbu Elagaina Sampadinchukovachu... Kaanee Maryada Chaduvu Mathrame Sampadinchi Peduthundi...” which makes all introspect in the end.

The film stars Samyuktha Menon as the female lead and the music is scored by GV.Prakash Kumar. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakhani,Thothapalli Madhu,Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai,Hyper Aadi, Adukalam Naren,Praveena and others played important roles. Yuvraj is the cinematographer and Naveen Nooli is the editor for the film bankrolled under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
