Prabhas Adipurush Court to hear PIL

Young Rebel Star Prabhas' Adi Purush directed by Om Raut has been the cynosure of all eyes. However ever since the film's teaser has been released, the makers faced severe criticism. People blasted them for the portrayal of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Ravan and also for the caricaturish portrayal of Lord Hanuman and others.

Few of them have already approached courts seeking directions to the makers and banning the film's release. Kuldip Tiwari approached the Allahabad Court, UP, and filed a PIL and now the court accepting the PIL sent notices to the Censor Board asking it to reply and posted the case for hearing on 21 February. The division bench comprising of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice BR Singh.

In his petition, they brought it to the notice that the makers did not get the teaser censored before releasing it. Petitioner also objected to the costumes worn by Kriti Sanon as Sita. It has to be seen how the makers react to these developments.
