Nani-Keerthy Suresh Dasara Completed

Nani's much awaited film Dasara which was set in 1980's is being made as a rugged film. This will probably become as the most raw film Tollywood has ever made. The filming of  Dasara, whose last schedule commenced during the second half of last month, has been wrapped up. Climax portion of the film was shot in this schedule .  Taking to his Twitter page, Nani showed his confidence towards his film.

Nani stated, “An Epic called #DASARA is done It’s a wrap. This diamond will shine FOREVER,” he posted. The actor shaved his beard and moustache after completing the show. Posting his new look, in another post, he wrote, “New day. New me :) #DasaraWrap.”

Leading lady Keerthy Suresh also posted about the completion of the shoot by posting a series of pictures. “Few films knock on your door and say - ‘Hey, I will be a feather in your cap’! That’s #Dasara for me. Love , Vennela #wrapup,” she wrote.

Dasara is a political drama set in the backdrop of Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani with Nani playing a rustic villager and speaking the Telangana dialect. Dasara has an ensemble cast involving Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Tom Chacko (Malayalam), Deekshith Shetty (Kannada) and Poorna in supporting roles. Srikanth Odela, who assisted Sukumar for Nannaku Prematho and Rangasthalam, is making his directorial debut with the project, a Santosh Narayan musical. The film is reported to have been made on a budget of Rs 70 crore.

After Dasara wrapped up, Nani will move to his next new project and it will be Nani’s 30th film. Shouyuv, a newcomer wields the megaphone. Nani’ll be working alongside Mrunal Thakur. Vyra Entertainments for their production no 1. A joint production venture between Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Murthy KS.
