‘Aishwarya Rai is one of the most beautiful stars in the industry’ is an understatement. However fans have mostly seen the actress with some make up on screen.

On the other hand director Mani Ratnam is known for his portray of natural beauty. According to sources, Mani Ratnam has shot a scene with Aishwarya without any make up in the bilingual “Ravana”. It seems that the director wanted to portray Ash in a sad mood and hence suggested her to act without the make up.
