Major goes strong in the first week

Adivi Sesh's Major which released last week is going strong and minted good numbers at the box office. The film which happens to be Adivi Sesh's first Pan India entertainer collected  50.7 Cr Gross In Its First Week Run. The film  besides winning critical accolades,is doing wonders at the ticket window.

Thus Major turned out to be the first 50 Cr grosser for Adivi Sesh whose market has multi-folded with the massive success of the movie.The film  has also crossed $1 Million mark in USA and it will rake good collections in second weekend. 

Major is directed by Sashikiran Thikka and starred Saiee Manjrekar, Shobhita Dhulipala, Murali Sharma, Prakash Raj and Revathi in important roles. Sri Charan Pakala scored the music for the film. The film is an  emotional tribute to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred during the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks while saving more than 150 people in the process.
